Rick Rogers, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with over 30 years practicing medicine in both the hospital and private practice setting. In 1983, Dr. Rogers began practicing orthopedic surgery with Murfreesboro Orthopedic Associates which later became Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance where he retired from medical practice in 2014. From October 2018 through October 2019, Dr. Rogers served as interim Chief Medical Officer at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Ascension Saint Thomas, Dr. Rogers serves on the Board of Trustees of Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford and the Board of Directors of Final Command Ministries.
Dr. Rogers earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Emory University and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. He enjoys spending time with his family including five young grandchildren.
