Robyn Morrissey serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Ascension Saint Thomas. In this role, Robyn leads service lines across the system, manages clinical program development and engagement with physicians, hospital leadership and co-management boards.
Having initially joined Ascension Saint Thomas in 2014, Robyn served as the System Vice President for neurosciences, orthopedics, and spine service lines for nearly six years before being appointed as the Chief Strategy Officer, Ambulatory Surgical Services for Ascension. During her time in this role, Robyn focused on driving the strategy and growth of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) across Ascension. In her prior role as System Vice President, Robyn played a pivotal role in developing programs that contributed to substantial growth in market share. Notable achievements include the establishment of the Ascension Saint Thomas Spine Institute, the journey to attain Comprehensive Stroke Center status at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West, and the expansion of outpatient total joint replacements throughout the ASC portfolio.
Robyn attended Middle Tennessee State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in communications & journalism and her master’s degree in strategic leadership.
