Plans by Ascension’s MissionPoint Health Partners to market its services to employers in Alabama, Florida and Indiana are highlighted in a new story by Modern Healthcare.

Nashville-based MissionPoint works with healthcare providers, employers and payers to create custom, high-quality healthcare networks that members can access at lower cost. MissionPoint supports its more than 250,000 members with a unique care model, offering personalized care to those who may need clinical and social support beyond traditional healthcare to achieve their best health.

The Modern Healthcare story notes how MissionPoint is working with companies’ existing insurers to add the organization’s benefits and network as another option for their employees.

MissionPoint expects to contract with employers in several markets for 2017, but some of them may begin contracting with the organization in 2016, Jason Dinger, CEO, told Modern Healthcare.
