About the Travel Program

WHO:
Caregivers interested in career travel opportunities in (to include nurses, nursing support professionals, respiratory therapists and certified surgical technicians)

WHAT:
The Associate Travel Program enables new and current associates to mobilize to locations across Ascension's integrated network of care, designed to meet our supplemental staffing needs.

WHEN:
Primarily 13-week assignments; other options are available

WHERE:
Multiple Ascension sites of care options available in states including: Alabama, Illinois, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin

Requirements and Application Process

Ascension is one of the largest Catholic healthcare organizations in the country, with more than 160,000 associates and 40,000 aligned providers working as one to connect care and deliver services to individuals and communities.

Requirements for interested applicants:

  1. Have at least 1 year of experience in the clinical setting traveler will be placed
  2. Obtain BLS Provider prior to hire/job transfer date
  3. Adhere to the Attendance, Personal Appearance/Dress Code and Grooming policies
  4. Complete learning modules, annual competencies and certification renewals established by the role responsibilities
  5. Possess a compact RN license or state RN license for location prior to assignment start
  6. Possess proof of automobile liability insurance if driving to/from assignment location
  7. Commit to working 1 holiday and 1 hard-to-fill shift per 13-week assignment based on unit’s need
