Ascension Wisconsin building orthopedic ambulatory surgery center

Ascension Wisconsin has announced an agreement with Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists to build a 45,000-square-foot clinic and orthopedic ambulatory surgery center.

The center will be called The Orthopedic Surgery Center of the Fox Valley and will provide a walk-in acute injury clinic and surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care for all ages. Surgeons at the center will perform procedures including joint replacements, fracture care, arthroscopy and injections. The center also will offer physical and occupational therapy services. It is projected to open in fall 2020.

Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists is a physician-owned orthopedic, sports medicine and rheumatologic practice with clinics in Green Bay, Appleton and Marinette, Wisconsin.
