Heart attack patient meets medical teams who helped save her life

On June 24, Racine resident and Ascension All Saints Hospital patient, Patti Becker was able to finally meet, and personally thank, the first responders and medical teams who helped save her life two months ago, when she suffered a heart attack.

On that day, first responders found her unresponsive on the floor of her home with no pulse and performed life-saving measures, including CPR, before rushing her to Ascension All Saints Hospital. Doctors confirmed Patti was having a heart attack and Dr. Raj Patel performed a successful cardiac surgery. Ascension Wisconsin honored the care teams who were involved with the Ascension Challenge Coin, which recognizes outstanding collaboration and care.
