Inside the $10M Emergency Department Transformation at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West

Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville has completed a $10 million expansion of its Emergency Department. The upgrades include advanced technology, faster diagnostic capabilities for strokes and heart attacks, expanded critical care and fast-track rooms, and enhanced geriatric services. Designed to meet growing patient demand and reduce treatment times, the project also supports first responders and includes a new ambulance bay and helipad access. This expansion is part of broader investments by Saint Thomas to meet Nashville’s growing population and demand for emergency services.
