Ascension Texas Reaches New Agreement with BCBSTX, Ensuring Continued Access to In-Network Care

Ascension Texas is pleased to announce it has reached a new agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), securing uninterrupted, in-network access to care for patients covered under BCBSTX’s Commercial, Medicare and Exchange (ACA) plans.

This renewed agreement ensures that individuals and families with BCBSTX coverage can continue receiving high-quality care at Ascension Texas’s hospitals, clinics and outpatient facilities without disruption.

“This agreement is more than just a contract,” said Jamie Youssef, CEO of Ascension Texas. “It is a reaffirmation of our Mission to serve all with dignity and compassion. By securing fair and sustainable reimbursement, we are able to continue supporting our caregivers, strengthening our ministries, and providing high-quality, compassionate care across the communities we serve.”

Ascension Texas extends its gratitude to our patients, caregivers and partners for their continued trust, support and patience throughout this process. The organization remains committed to building collaborative relationships with insurers to ensure access to the care people need—especially for the most vulnerable populations.

“We are grateful for the partnership and patience of those we serve as we navigated this important agreement,” added Youssef. “Together, we will continue our healing ministry and our commitment to the health and well-being of our communities.”
