Jennifer Valenti, manager of breast imaging at St. John Providence Health System (SJPHS) in metro Detroit, part of Ascension, is one of the 2014 Health Care Heroes named by Crain’s Detroit Business. Valenti received an Honorable Mention in the area of Allied Health.
Valenti has led creation of several SJPHS initiatives, including an integrated breast care program, a grant program for high-risk women without insurance, and fund-raisers to fight breast cancer.
