On the Dec. 18 episode of “Dads Got This!” Craig Melvin of “The Today Show” spotlighted a dad who dresses up as Santa Claus to give back to the NICU at Ascension St. Joseph, part of Ascension Wisconsin where his son was a patient.
Greg Phelps, made his 18th visit playing Santa this year at Ascension St. Joseph. His visits are inspired by the Santa who visited his son, Kyle, when he was born prematurely at the hospital in 1998.
The producer shared learned about Greg through a story the Ascension PR team placed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel last year.
