Ascension CEO Joseph Impicciche recognized as one of Modern Healthcare's 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare

Ascension announced that its Chief Executive Officer Joseph Impicciche was recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare of 2024. This annual list celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to shaping the healthcare landscape. The complete rankings will appear in the December 9 issue of Modern Healthcare magazine, with profiles of all honorees available at ModernHealthcare.com/100Mostinfluential.

The program recognizes leaders whose vision and influence have made a profound difference in healthcare. Honorees are selected by their peers and the senior editors of Modern Healthcare based on their impact and leadership.

"I am truly honored to be included in this year’s list, and I share this recognition with our associates and caregivers whose dedication and passion bring our Mission to life in meaningful ways,” said Impicciche. “Their ongoing efforts to serve patients, families and communities, especially those most in need, are the true driving force behind our collective impact."

“Our list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare reflects the important contributions of the men and women who have helped shape the industry in 2024," said Mary Ellen Podmolik, editor-in-chief of Modern Healthcare. "They come from all corners of the industry and their leadership has been felt from the doctor's office to Capitol Hill. We look forward to these honorees continuing to wield their influence to protect and improve patient care.”
