Young patients at Ascension’s Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas, are part of a short superhero action film featuring Austin police officers.
“Austin Police Superheroes,” filmed in part at Ascension’s Dell Children’s, shows the officers, dressed as superheroes, responding to the children’s call for help when villains Penguin and Erik Killmonger show up at the hospital.
Wonder Woman, Superman, Spider-Man and Batman were among the heroes on hand to save the day.
The movie is intended to raise awareness about the hospital and the children it serves, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley told Spectrum News.
