With the holidays in full swing, Santa Claus found time to visit with children at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore recently. Saint Agnes’ Mission Identity Council organized the first-ever Breakfast with Santa party for the families of associates. Children of all ages were able to meet and take photos with Santa, play festive games, have their faces painted, take holiday selfies, and make Christmas tree ornaments.
The event also collected canned goods to help spread the warmth of the season with those in need.
Afterwards, Santa made a surprise visit to some special patients in the Pediatric Emergency Department. No child enjoys an unexpected visit in the ED, but their faces lit up when they heard bells jingling down the hall and a friendly bearded face pop into their room to say hello.
