Dell Children’s Medical Center North Campus (DCMCN) recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony with H-E-B to unveil a new mural. The art installation at the hospital was done to celebrate the incredible donation that was made by H-E-B to the hospital. The $1.5 million donation represents H-E-B’s largest gift, to date, to Dell Children’s. The gift has supported the “Here Campaign” with a portion supporting the Dell Children’s Medical Group (DCMG) Clinic - Pediatrics Mueller. To honor H-E-B’s gift, Dell Children’s has been installing murals at other locations too, including Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center and the Dell Children’s- Pediatrics Mueller.
“We are so grateful to H-E-B for this incredible gift and their commitment to serving our community,” added Jenn Davis, Senior Director of Grants, Dell Children’s Foundation. “Our relationship with H-E-B is built on our shared vision of providing our community with the best care possible and ensuring that we are equipped to meet the growing needs of north Austin and Williamson County.”
“Just as H-E-B grows to meet the ever-expanding needs of Central Texas, Dell Children’s Medical Center is also focused on expanding to ensure the best pediatric healthcare in Central Texas for the families that need it,” said Heidi Anderson, Senior Director of Public Affairs, H-E-B. “In response to the high demand for high-quality pediatric healthcare access, we are honored to share that we have made a $1.5 million philanthropic investment to Dell Children’s Medical Center, including their new campus, Dell Children’s North in Cedar Park, as they work to advance the pediatric healthcare ecosystem in Central Texas and beyond.”
When an accident happens, getting the right care at the right time is critical. DCMCN’s 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department with Level III Trauma Services, Operating Rooms, intensive and acute care unit, radiology, lab, blood bank, and inpatient pharmacy, offer a full spectrum of medical and surgical care just for children and adolescents.
Dell Children’s Medical Center North Campus is part of Ascension, the largest nonprofit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system. The 187,000 square foot facility opened in 2023 with 36 patient rooms and provides general and specialized care for all children and adolescents.
