Married couple pursues nursing career together

Nurses are in high demand. Tennessee is facing a projected shortfall of 8,500 nurses by 2035, according to the Tennessee Hospital Association.

Marian University’s accelerated nursing program at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West enables students to reinvent their careers in as little as 16 months while meeting the urgent need for skilled nurses.

Andrea and Andrew Jansen, a married couple from Nashville, made the decision to enroll in the program together. They are now on track to graduate this August and begin work in a field that urgently needs their skills and compassion.
