Ascension Kansas health center provides scholarships to high school seniors

In May, Wamego Health Center, part of Ascension Kansas, provided four $500 scholarships to local high school seniors headed for careers in healthcare. This year’s recipients will each be entering nursing school in the fall.

“An opportunity to help the future of healthcare, especially coming from our own community, is something we are incredibly proud to be able to do at Wamego Health Center,” said Brian Howells, Hospital Administrator. “We wish these students the best of luck as they embark on their schooling this fall.”
